Augustine Giving his Rule (Bolswert, 1624)

Augustinian spirituality takes its root from Augustine of Hippo, an African-born fourth century monk and bishop whose life, teachings and writings have impacted the world in ways beyond measure. Throughout time, people have found in Augustine a spiritual home, a foundation through which one can journey toward God. That yearning for God is unending, and we hope you'll find this site as a resource and jumping off point for your own spiritual journey.
